This is Utando the eco orang utan travel pal made out of used glove, tennis ball, synthetic filler from a torn cushion, fabric scraps and two Malaysian 5c coins.

I made this especially for my friend Stani who's doing a world tour by BICYCLE with her hubby Richard. They're called the Velomads. A truly inspiring couple who cares more about the Earth than anything else in the world. It took them 7 years to get to Malaysia from France! awww... my cute buddies. they were really fun to make you kno. these socks were supposed to be shower mitts but maki square patch zapped my soul as i entered it's domain in singapore last thur. sweetly situated at haji lane their little friends waving frantically at me to go up and check them out ahhh... my dream shop.. that moment of inspiration gave birth to nodi, joji, dodi+ moot. joji's not in the pic coz he couldn't be bothered.
